JAMAICA, NY --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) Throughout the month of April, yorkathletics.com will highlight those who have given us everything they had on the playing fields with senior features for each team's 2020-21 senior class.  With the cancellation of sports for the 2020-21 academic year, York athletics will celebrate and recognize our seniors online and on social media with our #YorkSeniorDay.  Today, head coach Al Meneses celebrates Ebrahim Ramos as the lone member of the 2020 men's soccer senior class for his dedication to York athletics.  


 
Raised in Panama City, Panama, Ramos graduated from Wingate High School.  Ramos started 43 of his 44 matches played from 2017-19 at the forward and midfielder positions.  He totaled 13-career points between three goals and seven assists, including a career-high two goals and six assists during the 2018 season.  In 2019, Ramos played a key center midfielder role, helping York to a scoreless draw at Brooklyn College for the program's third shutout in as many years.  In 2018, Ramos assisted on a season-opening game-winning goal against Sarah Lawrence College, and also assisted on a game-tying goal to send York to a 1-1 draw at Hunter College.  Ramos would also dish out a career-high three assists during a 2018 match at the City College of New York.  Following the fall 2020 semester, Ramos graduated with a degree in business administration.
