JAMAICA, NY --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College head softball coach Tracey Marshall announced Wednesday the celebratory signing of Simranjit Kaur ahead of the 2025 campaign. Kaur arrives at York College after two varsity seasons at High School for Innovation in Advertising and Media.

A versatile player all over the diamond, Kaur will pitch and play in the outfield for the Cardinals. Academically, she intends to major in accounting at York College.

"Simi is dedicated to both sports and academics. She is joining us after just three years of High School. Strong and confident, Simi will put in a lot of time, sweat, and passion to both softball and academics."-commented Head Coach Tracey Marshall

Kaur joins a York recruiting class that includes Jeana Clemons of Research Lab High School in Buffalo (read more) as Cardinal commitments for 2024-25.
