JAMAICA, NY --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College athletics announced Wednesday the celebratory signing of Jeana Clemons for the 2025 season. Clemons will arrive at York in the fall after graduating from Research Lab High School in Buffalo. 

"I chose York College because from the first call I received from coach Marshall, it felt like family before even meeting her in person. The staff and students were extremely vibrant and gave off positive energy as soon as I stepped on campus. It means a lot to be a Cardinal because York has a great amount of diversity and welcomes everyone with open arms."-expressed Clemons

Playing sound defense at shortstop and hitting tanks at the plate, Clemons is currently playing her fourth varsity campaign at Research Lab High School. She has captained the team since sophomore year and made the All-Western New York First Team every year. Additionally, Clemons has had success on the volleyball court, captaining the squad starting her junior year and landing on the All-Western New York Honorable Mention List for 2023. Academically, Clemons will pursue aviation at York College.

Clemons is the first of York's recruiting class to be announced. In the coming months, we will learn more about the program's Cardinal commitments for the new campaign.
