www.YORKATHLETICS.com)Â York College men's and women's swimming continued to build momentum on Saturday, combining for points in two events and breaking three personal records during day two of the CUNYAC Championships inside The APEX, hosted by Lehman College.
The Cardinals totaled 10 points in the men's 200-yard medley relay as the quartet of
Wood-by Paulemont,
Darien Davis,
Munab Hasnain, and
Tyrone Morris placed fourth with a time of 3:20.05. York also picked up three points in the 100-yard backstroke, paced by Paulemont's seventh-place finish in 1:40.13 (2 pts).
Lukas Rivera added one point by trimming 6.48 seconds off his previous time to finish eighth in a personal-record 1:59.24, while
Brandon Smith followed in ninth after cutting 19.55 seconds to post a career-best 2:33.73.
On the women's side,
Elizabeth Astudillo shaved 2.71 seconds off her previous mark in the 100-yard breaststroke to finish 11th with a new top time of 2:09.63.

The Cardinals return to the pool Sunday (Feb. 4) to conclude the 2026 CUNYAC Championships at 10 a.m. inside The APEX. Day three will feature the York men competing in the 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard backstroke, 200-yard breaststroke, and 400-yard freestyle relay, while the women will race in the 100-yard freestyle.
