BRONX --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com)York College men's swimming produced four season-best performances on Friday during the opening day of the CUNYAC Championships, hosted by Lehman College inside The APEX.

A season-best showing from the 400-yard medley relay squad highlighted the meet for the Cardinals, as Wood-by Paulemont, Darien Davis, Munab Hasnain, and Brandon Smith trimmed 1:04.52 off their entry time to secure 12 points and a third-place finish in 7:48.47.

The 50-yard freestyle featured season-best swims from Paulemont (↓0.01, 31.56, 11th), Smith (↓1.36, 47.80, 15th), and Davis (↓7.18, 48.58, 16th).

York is back in action on Saturday (Jan. 31), as day two of the 2026 CUNYAC Championships continues at Lehman College beginning at 10 a.m. The Cardinal men will compete in the 200-yard medley relay, 100-yard butterfly, 100-yard breaststroke, and 100-yard backstroke, while the women are slated to race in the 100-yard breaststroke and 100-yard backstroke.
