Julia Wyman was honored as a 2025 CUNYAC Women's Swimming Preseason Swimmer to Watch, as league officials released the six-member group.
Debuting for the swimming program in the 2023-24 campaign, Wyman competed in seven meets, posting seven individual first-place results. At the 2024 CUNYAC Championships, she accumulated five total points for her performance in the 100-yard butterfly (1:16.05, 5th, 4 points) and the 100-yard freestyle (1:04.51, 8th, 1). Wyman also recorded a ninth-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle (6:53.54). During that season, her dedication and effort earned her a place on the CUNYAC Women's Swimming Sportsmanship Team and spearheaded a York College Women's Swimming Most Outstanding Award trophy.

Baruch College and Hunter College lead the pack, with each school grabbing three first-place votes and 23 points. York tallied five points.
The 2025-26 schedule culminates with CUNYAC Championships, which will take place on January 30 (Day 1), February 1 (Day 2), and February 2 (Day 3).
The Cardinals commence their season Monday (Nov. 17) with a home meet against the John Jay College Bloodhounds starting at 6 p.m. from York College Natatorium.
