JAMAICA, NY --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College senior guard Quran Dublin was recognized Tuesday as a D3hoops.com All-Region Second-Team selection following a dominant 2021-22 season.  The citation is York's first D3hoops.com All-Region honoree since 2013-14, when Michael Woods and Omar St. John earned first and second-team laurels, respectively.

Dublin, who was named York's first CUNYAC All-Star first-team selection since 2013-14, led the Cardinals to the CUNYAC Championship semifinal for the first time since 2014-15.  In 24 games, Dublin averaged 21.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 2.0 steals per contest while connecting on 44.3 percent (186-of-420) from the floor, 34.5 percent (60-of-174) from 3-point range and 89.3 percent (92-of-103) from the charity stripe.  

The New York native led the league in free-throw percentage and minutes per game (36.2), and was the second-leading scorer in addition to ranking top-5 in 3-point field goal percentage (5th), 3-point field goals made per game (3rd, 2.5), assists per game (4th), assist/turnover ratio (T-4th, 1.5).   

In the latest NCAA Statistical Rankings Summary, Dublin ranked among the Division III leaders in points per game (21st), points (38th, 524), free-throw percentage (12th), field goals made (50th), assists per game (75th), assists (86th, 111), steals per game (90th) and minutes per game (22nd).  

Throughout the season, Dublin was twice recognized as the CUNYAC Player of the Week and was also cited by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MBWA) as a Co-Player of the Week (1x), as well as being named three times as a weekly Honorable Mention award winner. 

Dublin was one of four CUNYAC student-athletes named D3hoops.com All-Region.
