Joshua Jackman was selected Monday as the CUNYAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Dec. 1-7. This is the sophomore's first weekly award with the Cardinals, and the program's first since Terrell Fullerton in February 2023.

In a home contest versus Manhattanville College (Dec. 3), he poured in a season-high 29 points and five threes in a tight 79-72 decision. The forward then followed it up with his third double-double of the season, scoring 15 points (9-of-10 FT) and grabbing 11 rebounds in a 72-66 victory at Medgar Evers College.
Playing in all seven contests for York, Jackman leads the team with 14.9 points, 8.3 rebounds per game, and is shooting 76 percent (19-of-25) from the charity stripe. In the CUNYAC hierarchy, those stats rank 6th, 4th, and 5th, respectively.
