JAMAICA, NY --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College Intramurals hosted a month-long 60-mile virtual Snowflake Run/Walk Challenge during the month of January in which 17 participants combined to run 697.65 miles tracked by the Nike Run Club (NRC) app.  York Executive Director of Government Relations and Strategic Initiatives, Dr. Earl Simons, won the 60-mile challenge in seven days, nine hours and eight minutes.  Finishing in second (15d, 7h, 33m) was Dr. Shawn Williams, an Academic Chair and Associate Professor in the Department of Health Professions, while Head Softball Coach Tracey Marshall claimed third place (9d, 10h, 15m).
