Women’s Swimming Falls to Sarah Lawrence

BRONXVILLE, NY— The York College women's swimming team fell to Sarah Lawrence College Thursday evening, losing by a score of 115-95. Despite the loss, York once again got strong contributions from veteran swimmers Averie Mohammed and Ayanna Bennett.

Mohammed was victorious in two events, winning both the 200-yard IM and the 200-free. Mohammed also placed second in the 50-free. Bennett took first in the 100-yard IM and placed second in the 100-yard free.

With the loss, York drops to 1-6 on the season. They will be idle until after the new year when they visit Mount Saint Vincent College on January 4^th.
