NEW YORK, NY– York freshman Sara Pazmino won both the 200-yard freestyle and the 100-yard breaststroke but it would not be enough as the York College women's swim team fell to Hunter College 53-42 on Friday evening. 

The loss drops the Lady Cardinals record to 0-2 on the season, while Hunter improves to 1-1. 

Averie Mohammed also picked up a win for York, as she touched the wall first in the 100-meter freestyle. In addition, Mohammed placed second in the 50-meter freestyle.  The Lady Cardinals squad also won the 200-medley relay. 

York will return to action on November 16 when they host New Rochelle and Old Westbury.
