JAMAICA, NY --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College head softball coach Tracey Marshall announced Monday the official signing of Mya Rivas ahead of the 2027 season.  

Rivas arrives at York College after spending three varsity seasons with the Roosevelt High School Rough Riders. In addition, she competed on the varsity women's volleyball squad,

On the diamond, Rivas will fill a utility role. In the classroom, the Hempstead, New York native plans to study nursing.

"Mya is a dedicated player with a very competitive nature. She will bring strength and contribute greatly to our program." - Head Coach Tracey Marshall

Rivas joins Jaivaneslie Mateo-Mendez of IN-Tech Academy as Cardinal commitments for the 2027 season.
