POUGHKEEPSIE, NY-- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College men's and women's outdoor track & field competed Saturday at the Vassar College Twilight Invitational from Weinberg Track.

Men's Performance Breakdown

• Ernest Bawilliam smashed his previous highs in the 1,500-meters (4:46.53, 12th) and 800-meters (2:15.90, 19th).
• Chris Merilan captured a seventh-place result in the 400m-hurdles (1:07.86) and led the squad in the 200-meter run (25.49, 37th).
• Suwesi Richards crossed the finish line in the 100-meter dash at a team-best (12.18, 31st) and scored a 26.20 time (40th) in the 200-meters. 
• Shirra Jenkins generated personal records in the 100-meter (13.35, 35th) and 200-meter (28.66, 43rd). He also jumped a team-high 4.46m (14th) in the long jump.
• George Molina produced career-highs in the javelin (19.72m, 6th) and shot put (7.65m, 7th).
• Bryan Ortiz was the lone York competitor in the 400-meter event, clocking in at 59:61 (29th).
• Richard Reyes ranked sixth in the 3,000m-steeplechase (13:07.82, 6th).
• Michael Zhang followed Bawilliam in the 1,500-meter category (5:09.00, 19th).
• The quartet of Bawilliam, Ortiz, Richards, and Merilan ran the 4x400-meter relay in 4:11.98 (5th).

Women's Performance Breakdown

• Sherley Bonne-Annee paced the squad in the shot put (7.13m, 12th), 100-meter dash (14.97, 16th), and the 200-meter dash (32.45, 22nd). The shot put and 100-meter results were career highs. 
• Alisha Adams debuted in the javelin (20.01m, 5th) and crossed the finish line in the 100-meters at a career-best 16.27.
• Jordanna Jervis followed Adams in the javelin throw (10.93m, 7th). 
• Jordeena Jervis recorded the second-highest shot put distance on the squad (4.81m, 15th).
• Sage Roach debuted in the javelin (7.34m, 9th) and shot put (4.78m, 16th). She also ran a career-best 20.03 (20th) in the 100m.
