www.YORKATHLETICS.com)Â York College turned in a productive outing at the 2026 CUNYAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday, compiling three team season-best performances, and four personal records at Icahn Stadium. The men's team placed fifth with four points, while the women matched the finish with two points. Hunter College claimed both team titles, scoring 176 points on the men's side and 223 on the women's side.
As Saturday's action came to a close, York took a moment to honor its graduating athletes. Seniors
Keanna Clouden (2023–26),
George Molina (2024-26),
Bryan Ortiz (2022–26),
Tahkwai Wilson-Hill (2022-23, 2025-26) and
Michael Zhang (2023–26), were recognized during the annual Senior Day Ceremony for their commitment and contributions to York Athletics.
Men's Performance Breakdown
- Michael Zhang delivered York's highest finish of the meet, placing fourth in the 5000-meter marathon (19:56.59) to account for the team's only four points.
- Hammed Durojaye turned in a personal-high result by 6.23 with a time of 2:36.58 in the 800-meter run (9th).
- In just his second appearance, Jordan Brown led York in the 200-meter category, clocking in at a career-best 24.22 (10th). Jahsani Peters followed at 27.52 (13th).
- Peters also clocked a personal-best 12.81 (13th) in the 100-meters, shaving 0.94 seconds off his previous mark.
- Brandon Smith leveled his personal best in the shot put with an 8.95-meter effort to place eighth, and also threw 17.88 meters (13th) in the discus.
- In the long jump, Shirra Jenkins posted a 4.26-meter mark (12th).
- The 4x400-meter relay team of Jenkins, Brown, Peters and Keshawn McPherson crossed the finish line at a season-best 4:16.42 to place fifth.
Women's Performance Breakdown
- The 4x100-meter relay combination of Bianca Burgin, Rebecca McKenzie, Ndieye Sagna and Keanna Clouden delivered a strong performance, cutting 1.70 seconds off their season best to place fifth in 58.72 and earn two team points.
- McKenzie led the 200m with a PR of 29.57 (11th), trimming 1.04 seconds, as Clouden placed 13th at 30.99.
- York claimed the 12th–14th slots in the 100m behind Clouden (14.86), Sagna (15.33) and Burgin (16.40).
- Jordeena Jervis paced the shot put group with a 5.06-meter throw (12th), while Jordanna Jervis followed at 4.52 meters (14th). Cecilia Prince rounded out the trio with a throw of 3.92 meters (15th).
