FLUSHING, NY-- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College men's and women's outdoor track & field continued their campaign with the Queens College Knights Invite from the Queens College Track & Field Complex.

Men's Performance Breakdown

• Chris Merilan produced a fourth-place result in the long jump (5.19 meters). The freshman also had team-best times in the 100-meter (12.37, 14th) and 200-meter events (25.27, 13th).
• Bryan Ortiz crossed the end line of the 100-meter dash at a career-best 13.52 (18th). 
• Shirra Jenkins recorded career-high times in the 200-meters (29.46, 21st) and the long jump (4.40 meters, 7th)
• Bryan Godette had a second-place mark of 1.75 meters in the high jump.
• George Molina tossed the shot put 6.07 meters (12th).
• Richard Reyes paced the Cardinals in the 5,000-meters at 18:04.86 (7th). Ernest Bawilliam (19:16.73, 13th) and Michael Zhang (19:30.06, 14th) rounded out the rotation.

Women's Performance Breakdown

• Rebecca McKenzie claimed top-six results in the long jump (4.11 meters, 3rd) and the 100-meter dash (14.64, 6th).
• Sherley Bonne-Annee led the squad in the 400-meter event (1:22.05, 8th) and crossed the finish line for the 100-meter run in 12th place (16.07).
• Alisha Adams had a team-leading 38.39 (11th) score in the 200-meters and put forward a 13th-place result (16.91) in the 100-meters. 
• Jordanna Jervis followed Bonne-Annee in the 100-meter category (18.07, 15th) and Adams in the 200-meters (40.97, 13th).
• Jordeena Jervis authored a ninth-place finish in the 400-meter dash (1:48.04, 9th).
• Sage Roach made her first York appearance in the 100-meter (21.31, 17th) and 200-meter (45.88, 15th) events. 
• Jeana Clemons debuted in the shot put with a toss of 4.54 meters (16th).
• The quartet of McKenzie, Bonne-Annee, Beautifull Earth, and Keanna Clouden ran the 4x100-meter relay in 1:03.80 (3rd).
