www.YORKATHLETICS.com)Â York College men's and women's indoor track & field returned to action Saturday at the West Point Tune Up against competition from NCAA Division I, II, and III levels inside Gillis Field House.
Men's Performance Breakdown
- Chris Merilan produced a pair of top-15 results for York. Merilan scored a career-best 10.85 meters (11th) in the triple jump, and his time in the 60-meter hurdles 10.37 (15th) ranks fourth in the 2025 CUNYAC Indoor Performance List.Â
- Richard Reyes authored top-20 finishes in the 3,000-meter (10:25.98, 14th) and mile (5:03.66, 17th) categories.Â
- Michael Zhang achieved a personal-best mile time of 5:23.08, good enough for ninth in the CUNYAC Performance List.Â
- Suwesi Richards registered a career-best 60-meter time (8.00, 36th).
- Bryan Ortiz placed 18th in the 400-meter dash (1:04.73).
- Ahmed Algendy totaled a 9.26-meter throw (17th) in the shot put. Jacob Matthews had a distance of 6.42 meters (19th).
Women's Performance Breakdown
- Sherley Bonne-Annee paced York in the 200-meter dash (33.47 seconds), finished second on the squad in the 60-meter event (9.95 seconds), and achieved a career-high mark of 7.03 meters in the shot put.
- Keanna Clouden crossed the finish line in the 60-meter at a team-best 9.56 seconds to go along with a 34.15 time in the 200-meter run.Â
- Jordanna Jervis added career-high results in the 60-meter (11.52 seconds) and 200-meter (43.67) categories, while Jordeena Jervis generated a top personal-best mark of 40.80 seconds in the 200-meter event.
