www.YORKATHLETICS.com)Â York College men's and women's indoor track & field competed Saturday in the NYU Division III Invitational from The Nike Track & Field Center at The Armory.
Men's Performance Breakdown
- Chris Merilan registered a pair of top-30 finishes for York. He earned the third best time on the CUNYAC Performance List for the triple jump by landing a distance of 11.97 meters to take 23rd. In the 60-meter hurdles, Merilan placed 28th with a time of 10.64 seconds (ranked fifth on CUNYAC Performance List).
- Bryan Ortiz completed the 60-meter dash in 8.65 seconds, finishing in 22nd.Â
- In the 200-meter dash, Merilan clocked a time of 26.57 seconds (59th place), while Michael Zhang followed at 28.91 seconds (66th place).Â
- Ernest Bawilliam ran the 400-meter in 58.81 seconds (48th place).
- Richard Reyes completed the 1-mile race in 5:06.47 (52nd place).
Women's Performance Breakdown
- Sherley Bonne-Annee led York in both the 60 and 200-meter dash events. She clocked a top-10 finish by placing ninth in the 60-meter dash in 9.83, and later crossed the line in 32.97 (64th place) in the 200-meter. Â

- York also registered two other top-15 finishes in the 60-meter dash with Jordeena Jervis and Jordanna Jervis claiming 12th (11.56) and 13th (12.00), respectively.
