JAMAICA, NY --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College announced the resignation of head women's soccer coach Winston Willabus, effective immediately. The Cardinals are moving forward with a search for their next head women's soccer coach.

Hired in April 2022, Willabus led the women's soccer team as head coach for two campaigns, contributing to a pair of CUNYAC Sportsmanship Team selections and one CUNYAC Preseason Player to Watch laurel.  In the classroom, Cardinals' women's soccer produced five CUNYAC Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll selections, to go along with a CUNYAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year Honorable Mention distinction in 2023.   

On the pitch, the highlight of Willabus' York tenure was a 4-3 CUNYAC triumph against Lehman College (October 12, 2022) in the season final. Willabus leaves York with a two-year record of 1-15-0.
