BRONX --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College women's soccer closed out its season with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over the Yeshiva University Maccabees (0-13-0) on Tuesday evening from Lehman College's South Field. The non-conference matchup marked the Cardinals' (3-10-0) second-consecutive season finale win, closing the campaign on a high note and looking toward 2026.

First-Half Breakdown
The Cardinals tested Yeshiva early, as Stephanie Gonzalez registered a shot on goal just 2:48 into the contest. Yeshiva's Rachel Amar responded at 5:40 with the team's lone attempt, which sailed high and right, as York's backline held the Maccabees shotless for the remainder of the game. York continued to press, with shots on goal by Emma Kolenovic at 6:31 and Gonzalez at 7:27. Gonzalez kept chipping away, recording attempts in the 10th and 22nd minutes before challenging Maayan Berkowitz (0-10-0) with her third shot on goal of the half.
