www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College women's swimming accomplished individual success Thursday (Jan. 18) in a CUNYAC showdown against the Lehman College Lightning (W: 3-4, 1-4 CUNYAC) from York College Natatorium. The Cardinals were unable to top Lehman, falling 74-27 in their home finale.
Julia Wyman claimed a hat trick of victories, setting a career-high in the 50-meter freestyle (32.50). Eviscerating the competition in the 50-meter freestyle, she touched the wall 5.21 ahead of the closest competitor. Additionally, Wyman narrowly missed out on season-best times in the 100-meter butterfly (1:26.10) and 100-meter breaststroke (1:38.40).
