Women’s Swimming Drops Road Meet to John Jay

NEW YORK, N.Y.—The York College women's swimming team fell on the road to John Jay College, 49-28, on Monday evening.
 
In the loss, the Cardinals won two events. Shantusha Kanhai won the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 3:00.38.
 
In the relay events, the squad of Mariela Rosario, Karina Diaz, Anjelica Ferra and Kanhai closed out the evening by placing second in the 200-yard free relay with a time of 2:25.96.
 
The Bloodhounds took first in 10 out of 11 events. 
 
With the loss, York is now 0-9, 0-4 CUNYAC. John Jay College improves to 3-3, 2-2 CUNYAC.  York will now be idle for the holidays and will return to action on January 16 vs. Lehman College.
