JAMAICA, N.Y.— The York College women's swim team opened the 2015-16 campaign on the road Thursday night, where they lost to Hunter College by a score of 53-30.
The bright spot for York College was
Kerry-Ann Bailey. She placed second in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 30.14. That was York's best finish, as Hunter took first in every event.
Hunter is now 1-0, 1-0 CUNYAC, while York is 0-1, 0-1 CUNYAC. The Cardinals will visit John Jay College on Tuesday, November 10 at 6 p.m. They will then host their home opener on Friday, November 13 at 6 p.m. in a double dual meet vs. Bard College and the College of Mt. St. Vincent.
