RESULTS

NEW YORK, N.Y.— The York College women's swim team returned to the pool on Tuesday following Christmas break, but fell to John Jay College, 64-19.  Despite the loss, Sandra Shamburger shined again for the Cardinals, winning three events.
 
Shamburger started things off by winning the 1000-free in a time of 12:52.56 and later won the 100-back in 1:13.62.   She then capped off her night by besting four other swimmers in the 50-freestyle, finishing in a time of 30.40. 
 
York falls to 0-6 overall and 0-4 in the CUNYAC.  John Jay improves to 4-3, 2-3 CUNYAC.  The Cardinals will visit the College of Staten Island on Friday at 6:00 p.m.
