BOX SCORE 1 | BOX SCORE 2
NEW YORK, N.Y— The York College softball team could do little offensively in a doubleheader loss to Baruch College at Randall's Island on Tuesday. The Cardinals were blanked 8-0 in game one and 11-0 in the second game.

York was held to just one hite in each game.  Baruch's Nicole Flint pitched both games of the doubleheader, striking out nine batters in game one and five in the nightcap.

Game one was close early on but Baruch put up three runs in the third and two in the fifth to turn a 3-0 deficit into 8-0. Game two was never in doubt as the Bearcats plated three in the first and seven in the second.

Geneva Faulk and Priscilla Lallave accounted for York's only hits on the afternoon.  The Bearcats were led by Courtney White at the plate, who went a combined 4-for-6 in the doubleheader with three RBIs.

Baruch improves to 15-14, 10-1 in the CUNYAC.  York falls to 5-22, 0-12 in the CUNYAC.  The Cardinals will host the College of New Rochelle at Cunningham Park, Field #16 on Thursday at 4:00 p.m.
