VIRGINIA BEACH, VA— The 2011 season got off to a rough start for the York College softball team as the Lady Cardinals dropped all four of their games at the Virginia Wesleyan Beach Blast Tournament Friday and Saturday.

On Friday, York lost to Virginia Union 10-0 and Gallaudet University 12-3. On Saturday, things did not get any better for York as they fell to Albright College 9-0 and Emory and Henry College 28-0. 

York (0-4) will return to action on March 23^rd when they host Brooklyn College at 3:00 p.m.
