York’s Season Comes to an End at CUNYAC Semifinals

NEW YORK, NY— The 2011 York College Men's Volleyball season ended in the semifinals of the CUNY Athletic Conference Championship Friday evening, as they fell to top-seeded Baruch College by a score of 3-0 (25-11, 25-14, 25-7).
Baruch, the two-time defending CUNYAC Champion dominated the match from the onset and never looked back. The Bearcats were led by Vincent Cruz who registered a match-high ten kills and .909 hitting percentage, to go along with eight blocks. Pablo Oliveira added eight kills and seven aces.
York was led by Maximo Bonilla who recorded four kills and three digs. Terrence Sutton picked up a match-high nine digs with three kills.
York finishes the season with a record of 15-20, while Baruch advances to the finals and improves to 29-12.
