Hunter Downs York in Women’s Swimming

NEW YORK, NY— The York College women's swimming team dropped its conference opener to Hunter College on Tuesday evening, losing by a score of 55-34.

Hunter was in control of the race throughout, winning every race. Averie Mohammed finished third in the 200-IM, while Chrisviany Delarosa added a third place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke.

York (0-2) will take on Old Westbury and Mount Saint Vincent in a tri-meet on Thursday, November 17 at 6:00 p.m. at York College.
