Men’s Volleyball Drops Two Matches to #9 Philadelphia Biblical

LANGHORNE, PA – The York College men's volleyball team dropped a pair of games to ninth-ranked Philadelphia Biblical University Saturday evening.  The Cardinals dropped game one 3-0 (30-11, 30-15, 30-18) and lost the nightcap 3-0 (30-25, 30-17, 30-16).

 

Despite the loss, York was led by Arturo Cabrera Jr. who combined for 12 kills in two matches.  #Bryan Williams combined for 11 kils while Aruni Piantini# totaled 26 assists.  #Brian Francisco# recorded eight of his ten kills in the second match. 

 

PBU was led by Justin Brubaker who had 14 kills in the first match, and Josh Tuttle who added 12 kills in the second contest. 

 

With the two losses, York drops to 4-3 on the season, while PBU improves to 6-1.   York will host Medgar Evers on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
