JAMAICA, NY --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) Fans are a significant part of the student-athlete experience, and York College welcomes back fully vaccinated members of the campus community (student, faculty/staff) to attend games inside York Gymnasium.

As of February 17, 2022, York College's spectator policy will be implemented to permit the following:

1. Only allow fully vaccinated campus community, using Cleared4 to verify vaccination status (as a backup, CDC or Excelsior may serve as proof of full vaccination status should Cleared4 be unavailable).
2. Guests from outside the campus community may be permitted with prior approval, and with compliance with CUNY Visitor Policy.
3. Spectator Capacity (25% capacity of event location – gymnasium, up to 150pp).

Spectator capacity will be reviewed and increased accordingly based upon prevailing circumstances. Masking is optional, and all attendees must fully comply with vaccination protocols in order to gain entrance to the facility and event. 

The full details spectator policy is outlined below and can also be found by visiting yorkathletics.com/spectator.  Members of the campus community will be required to complete the Spectator Registration (closes 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the contest) by visiting yorkathletics.com/spectator.

York College is excited to be able to safely welcome back spectators at our home games. In order to gain approved access to York College, spectators will be required to submit the mandatory registration request forms (submitted no less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the contest) and adhere to the guidelines outlined below.

York College Athletics Vaccination and Testing Policies
All spectators in attendance inside York College Gymnasium and York College Natatorium are required to be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus, with a CDC authorized COVID-19 vaccine in accordance with CDC guidelines.

Masking
In compliance with CUNY and York College mandates, masking is optional. 

Beverages & Food
The consumption of beverages and food inside York College Gymnasium and York College Natatorium is prohibited.

Visitor Policy
CUNY's visitor access policy (https://www.cuny.edu/coronavirus/visitor-policy) defines a visitor as "someone who is not a CUNY student, faculty or staff member.

Campus Access
The City University of New York's main priority is to keep everyone as safe as possible, including visitors, vendors and contractors. All visitors (including students, faculty/staff, officials and spectators) to campus will be required to complete the following registration requests for campus access no more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the contest by completing both the CUNY Campus Access Registration and Spectator Registration forms linked below. Please note that submitting the required registration requests does not guarantee you access to campus as you will need to have received approval once your CUNY Campus Access Registration form has been successfully submitted, reviewed and approved.
