NEW YORK --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College's Joshua Jackman capped off his season with a nod from the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MWBA) as a Men's Basketball Divisions II/III Player of the Week honorable mention selection for games played Feb. 16-22. This MBWA distinction is Jackman's second of the campaign and the program's fifth weekly MBWA honoree.

On the court, the forward produced a pair of double-doubles in his final two games, averaging 27.0 points and 12.5 rebounds per game on 62.9% shooting (22-of-35). Dominating Medgar Evers College (103-41), Jackman notched a season-best 30 points (13-of-20 FG, 4-of-7 FG) to go along with 12 rebounds, two steals, and three blocks. He also netted a team-high 24 points (9-of-15 FG, 4-of-7 3FG) and secured 13 rebounds against first-round opponent John Jay College (Feb. 21) in a tough 86-84 defeat. 

Across 22 games, the Jamaica, NY, native contributed 12.6 points and a team-high 8.2 rebounds per game, and generated six double-doubles. Amongst CUNYAC competitors, Jackman ranks 10th in points and 4th in rebounds.
