About Yoga & Movement
Sessions include various approaches to Mindful Movement. Elements of Hatha and Vinyasa style yoga, body-relaxation techniques and breath awareness practices will be incorporated. The assistance of props will be utilized for myofascial release and joint mobilization. Sessions will be geared towards increasing stability, flexibility, and strength, while bringing awareness to postural alignment and ease of motion. Yoga & Movement sessions are open to all levels. Each week we will strengthen our foundation in body awareness and progressively build levels of movement vocabulary. Funding for the Yoga & Movement is made possible by the CARES Act.
