Stephanie Gonzalez earned both the CUNYAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week and the conference's Rookie of the Week honors for her performances during the week of Sept. 22-28. Gonzalez has now garnered four weekly laurels in three weeks to start her York career.
Triumphing against the Keystone College Giants (Sept. 24) 7-5, she scored a program-record seven goals and set a season-high with 12 shots on target. Gonzalez followed that up by accumulating all of York's shots in a road affair at Saint Elizabeth University (Sept. 27).
Across seven matches, the freshman leads the conference in points (19), goals (9), shots (39), and shots on target (19). On a national level, she ranks near the top in goals (T-6th) and points (T-11th).

Gonzalez returns to action Saturday (Oct. 11) with a CUNYAC matchup against the Brooklyn College Bulldogs (2-6) starting at 12 p.m. from York College Outdoor Athletic Complex.
