NEW YORK, NY --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College women's soccer's Stephanie Gonzalez earned both the CUNYAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week and the conference's Rookie of the Week honors for her performances during the week of Sept. 22-28. Gonzalez has now garnered four weekly laurels in three weeks to start her York career. 

Triumphing against the Keystone College Giants (Sept. 24) 7-5, she scored a program-record seven goals and set a season-high with 12 shots on target. Gonzalez followed that up by accumulating all of York's shots in a road affair at Saint Elizabeth University (Sept. 27). 

Across seven matches, the freshman leads the conference in points (19), goals (9), shots (39), and shots on target (19). On a national level, she ranks near the top in goals (T-6th) and points (T-11th).
