Ovid Cusu announced Thursday the celebratory signing of Stephanie Gonzalez ahead of the 2025 campaign. Gonzalez arrives at York College after playing four varsity seasons at New Utrecht High School. The Brooklyn native also played flag football and competed for the NYC-based Central Park Rangers organization.

A former team captain and PSAL All-Star with an eye for goal, Gonzalez is projected to play center attacking midfield and major in nursing.

Gonzalez is the program's first recruit for the 2025 season. Soon, we will learn more about the additional Cardinal commitments for the upcoming campaign.
