Brahim Chhab announced Thursday the celebratory signing of Chris Cruz. He arrives at York College following a two-year varsity stint at Evergreen Charter School.
"I am very excited to commit to York College. York provides great academic and athletic programs, not to mention the state-of-the-art soccer field and complementary sports facilities."-Chris Cruz.
Playing as a right back across two varsity campaigns, Cruz was a key starter for Evergreen Charter during the 2023 Long Island Group C Championship. With the Cardinals, he is projected to slot into that right back position and intends to major in business administration.

With his commitment, Chris Cruz becomes the sixth signee of the 2025 class, joining his twin brother Alexander Cruz (
