In a doubleheader versus Purchase College (Mar. 21), Clemons accounted for both of York's runs, driving in one on a grounder in the opener and then delivering a run-scoring double in the second game. Triumphing over Yeshiva University (Mar. 23) by the final count of 31-18, the Buffalo native paced the squad as York scored a program-record 31 runs. Clemons went 3-for-4 with four runs, four RBI, and two stolen bases. Key moments included a steal of home to make it 4-0, a 2-run double that gave York life in the third inning, and a two-run bomb to extend the Cardinals' lead to four (16-12). Clemons also added a triple in York's 6-4 game-two loss.
