www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College men's and women's cross country continued their season Sunday at the Mount Saint Mary College Invitational on the Hudson Valley Sports Dome course.  Â
York produced a pair of top-11 finishes led by
Richard Reyes' 8K time of 32:36.6 to place 10th out of 59 runners.
Michael Zhang was right on his tail in 11th place, crossing the finish line with a career-best time of 32:39.2.
Stephen Ulysse registered a career-best time of 37:01.1 (26th), and
Chris Merilan generated a career-high pace of 38:53.4 (32nd).
Nemuel Bobb rounded out the Cardinal order at 49:25.9 (50th).Â
York finished third overall (106 points) as the United States Merchant Marine Academy scored a meet-winning 18 points. USMMA's Luke Zweisler claimed first place with a time of 26:25.2.
For the women,
Keanna Clouden ran the 6K race at 37:19.7 (28th). Sherley Bonne-Anne followed up at 41:47.0 to finish in 35th.Â
Katherine Kerchner of USMMA won the race at 25:45.2, and the Mariners paced the field with a 32-point total.Â
The Cardinals return to the trails next Sunday (Oct. 20) at the Medgar Evers College Legacy Invitational from Van Cortlandt Park starting at 10 a.m.
