FLUSHING, NY--- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College's Brithney Bielma was recognized Tuesday as the CUNYAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week Honorable Mention Selection for games played Sept. 23-29. This is the forward's first-career women's soccer CUNYAC weekly honor and the team's first since Gisselle Flores-Barajas claimed Rookie of the Week in October 2019.

Hosting the Medgar Evers College Cougars (Sept. 23), Bielma was an efficient monster in front of goal. In an 11-0 victory, the freshman scored four goals on seven shots and grabbed one assist during the rout. Her nine points and four goals were the fourth most in a game in program history. Per the current CUNYAC leaderboard, the pacey winger is seventh in goals and ninth in points.
