www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College women's volleyball opened their home slate Thursday evening against the College of Mount Saint Vincent Dolphins (2-2), falling in straight sets (25-4, 25-12, 25-4) in a non-conference matchup from York College Gymnasium.

How it Happened
- York took an early 1-0 lead in the first set after an error from the Dolphins.
- Mount Saint Vincent responded by claiming 22 of the following 23 points on the strength of serves Elizabeth Flores and Isabella Garcia.
- The Cardinals claimed two consecutive points to make the score 22-4.
- An ace by Adelina Elezaj closed out the first set at 25-4 for the Dolphins.
- After a kill by York's Andrea Wright to make it 1-0 in the second stanza, Mount Saint Vincent answered with 11 consecutive points to take an 11-1 lead.
- Trailing 15-2, a kill and two aces by Wright cut the deficit to 15-5.
- Both teams split the next 12 points, as a double block from Wright and Cherub Autar made it a 21-11 score.
- An ace by Garcia punctuated a 25-12 second-set win for the Dolphins.
- Mount Saint Vincent pulled away in the third frame, as five straight aces from Elezaj helped the Dolphins to a 15-2 edge.
- Ahead 16-4, Mount Saint Vincent won nine straight points to close out the match.
