@yorkcardinals’ Bellmon tabbed to CUNYAC Women’s Soccer Sportsmanship Team

Taylor Bellmon was recognized as one of the CUNYAC’s top women’s soccer sportsmanship selections in 2022

FLUSHING, NY --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College senior forward Taylor Bellmon was recognized Tuesday by the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) for the second-consecutive year as one of the league's top women's soccer sportsmanship selections.  

Bellmon was tabbed to the 2022 Sportsmanship Team after being named the Sportsmanship Award honoree a season ago. As a native of Huntsville, Alabama, the 2021 CUNYAC All-Star played in all four matches during York's shortened season as a senior, producing a team-leading two goals and one assist. Bellmon netted her fourth-career game-winning goal in leading York to a 4-3 CUNYAC win against Lehman College (Oct. 12).  

"Taylor shows her athletic diversity and commitment to representing the college and CUNY Athletics by participating in cross country and tennis. She operates with class and distinction whether competing against or interacting with her peers and coaches. Taylor is a leader on and off the field. Regularly counseling her younger student-athletes, as she looks to pass on the torch of athletic progress," said head coach Winston Willabus
