NEW YORK, NY- The York men and women's swimming teams faced the Bearcats on Monday night. The women lost 104-67, while the men fell by a score of 108-68.
 
For the women, Shantusha Kanhai placed second in the 50-meter freestyle with a time of 35.08. Kaithlyn Taylor was able to finished third in the 100-meter freestyle, finishing with a final time of 1:48.20.
 
Justice McCain led the way for the Cardinals on the men's side, placing third in the 800-meter freestyle with a time of 11:29.83. In the 50-meter freestyle, Juan Rodriguez finished in third place with a time of 32.90.
 
The men now fall to 1-3-1, 0-2 CUNYAC, while the women hold a record of 0-6, 0-3 CUNYAC.  Both of the teams will be in action next Tuesday, November 21st. York will host St. Joseph's College in a meet with a start time of 6:00 pm.
