www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College men's and women's swimming culminated their 2025-26 regular season Thursday evening with battles against Lehman College and Hunter College. The men dropped a 68-45 decision against the Lightning (3-8), and the women fell 105-7 in a CUNYAC tilt against the Hawks (7-6, 5-0 CUNYAC) inside York College Natatorium.Â
Munab Hasnain and
Lukas Rivera both collected first-place points for the Cardinal men. Hasnain swam the 100-meter butterfly in 2:07.36, and Rivera finished the 100-meter backstroke in 2:21.95.
Darien Davis recorded a career-best time in the 100-meter breaststroke (2:21.98, 2nd) to earn four points.
Tyrone Morris nabbed a point in the 100-meter freestyle (2:17.49, 5th) and generated a seventh-place result in the 50-meter freestyle (53.58).
Brandon Smith clocked in at 54.57 (9th) for the 50-meter freestyle.Â
In relays, the quartet of Smith, Davis, Hasnain, and Rivera captured first prize in the 400-meter medley relay (9:30.94, 11 points). The combination of Morris, Smith, Hasnain, and Davis also collected 11 points in the 200-meter freestyle relay (3:28.38).Â
On the women's side,
Elizabeth Astudillo captured seven total points via a trio of top-four finishes. She touched the wall on the 100-meter backstroke at 2:05.88 (three points), and produced two points in both the 50-meter freestyle (40:20, 4th) and 100-meter breaststroke (2:37.03, 4th).Â
