BROOKLYN, N.Y.— The York College women's soccer team wrapped up the 2013 season on Monday afternoon with a match against Brooklyn College that counted as a non-conference contest. The Cardinals failed to end the season on a positive note, losing 4-0.
The Cardinals had no answer for the Bulldogs' Shani Abrahams, who scored all four goals. She netted each one in the first half in a span of 21 minutes.
On offense, York could only muster two shots against the Brooklyn defense. York keeper
Sarah Hilaire did turn away 11 shots on the day, however.
Brooklyn improves to 13-2 and will head to the CUNY Athletic Conference playoffs this weekend. York finishes the 2013 campaign with a record of 3-13.
