Women’s Soccer Can’t Stop Old Westbury in 5-0 Loss

BROOKLYN, N.Y.— The SUNY Old Westbury women's soccer team featured a relentless offensive attack, firing 39 shots on the afternoon, which resulted in a 5-0 victory over the York College women's soccer team on Monday.
The score could have been much worse had it not been for the strong play of York keeper
Kiara Libreros, who turned away 16 shots on the day. Meanwhile, York could get nothing going on its side of the field, getting only one shot attempt all afternoon.
Old Westbury's JoAnna Kettell had two goals and an assist and Jordan Schildt also added two goals to lead the Panthers. Stephanie Maybe finished with a goal and two assists.
With the win, Old Westbury improves to 3-6, while York drops to 1-5-1. The Cardinals will host Lehman College on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
