Women’s Soccer Gets First Win of 2012 with 2-0 Triumph over Yeshiva

WEST HARRISON, NY—The York College women's soccer team earned a 2-0 victory over Yeshiva University, its first of the young 2012 season, on Thursday evening.

st minute. Then in the second half, the Cardinals benefitted from an own goal by Yeshiva after a corner kick went off a Yeshiva player and into the net.
In goal, York got four saves from freshman keeper
Kiara Libreros, who earned the shutout.
York, now 1-1-1, will visit John Jay College on Monday at 4:00 p.m. at the Metropolitan Oval in Maspeth, NY
