JAMAICA, NY— The York College men's and women's swim teams each fell to Purchase College in the 2010-11 regular season finale.  The men lost by a score of 142-66, while the women lost 169-66. 

Purchase dominated the meet from the onset; however York's Vlad Vyzhymov was a bright spot for the Cardinals, winning both the 50-meter breaststroke and the 100-breaststroke.  For the women, Ayanna Bennett earned a second-place finish in the 50-backstroke.

The men's and women's teams will be idle until the CUNY Athletic Conference Championships which begin on February 3 and continue through February 5.
