Nicole Ovelheira has been awarded the York College Female Athlete of the Month for March 2018. During the month of March, Ovelheira had an impressive .529 batting average and a .706 slugging percentage in seven games. Ovelheira leads the CUNYAC with her batting average and is third in slugging percentage and on-base percentage (.556).   She also led the team with nine RBI’s throughout the month.

Ovelheira had the best game of the month on March 17th, 2018 against Rosemont. She had four RBI’s and a double when she went 3-for-3, leading the Cardinals on the offensive side.
