Stayce Kay Muirhead dominated the volleyball court this past month, leading York in points (150.0), kills (105), and attack percentage (.222).

On September 6th, the first match of the season, Stayce Kay tallied up a total of 11 blocks, taking the team lead in that category and never looking back. Currently, she has a total of 45 blocks, which leads the team by 25.

On September 20th, Muirhead racked up a total of 16 kills on September 20th in a match against Mt. St. Vincent – just one shy of her career high – and also hit an outstanding .419. Also on the 20th, she added 11 kills against William Paterson University, bringing her kill total to an impressive 27 on the day.

Stayce Kay is also showing that she is one of the best volleyball players in the CUNY Athletic Conference. Throughout the whole conference, she is eighth in kills per set (2.23) and second in blocks per set (0.96).
