Jadah Tappin has been named the York College Athlete of the Month for March 2017.  Tappin finished fifth in the triple jump at the 2017 Eastern College Athletic Conference Championships on March 4. Tappin had her best jump of the year at the right time.  Her mark of 11.19 meters eclipsed her previous best distance of 10.92 meters, and she finished indoor season with one of the best triple jump marks in the country--although she came up short of qualifying for NCAAs.
