The senior guard is having a great campaign so far. Ruggiano has played all but 10 minutes for the Cardinals. Overall, she is averaging 16.3 points per contest.
 
She set a career-high for points scored in a game against conference opponent Medgar Evers. Her 28-point on 10-of-19 shooting performance helped the Cardinals to a 56-48 victory and to their first conference win of the season. She also had another great outing in a 68-54 win over Yeshiva. Ruggiano totaled 21 points to go along with three steals in the win. The Cardinals will continue to rely heavily on Ruggiano and the success of the team is dependent on the leadership she provides.
