Michael Woods had a great month in January, averaging 26.7 ppg, 2.5 assists and 3.0 steals per game, and helping to lead the men’s basketball team to an 8-2 record for the month.

Woods went ove 30 points in five of the ten games, including a record-breaking performance in a 103-68 victory over Medgar Evers College on January 15th, in which Woods set a new single-game scoring record for York College, with 44-points, to go with a career high of seven steals.

Woods was also awarded the ECAC and CUNYAC Player of the Week on two occasions in the month of January.
